Jan 6, 2021 · I ran the tool on a SNG7 distro that is running Asterisk 17. I performed a backup of the old server without CDR, then did a restore on the new server and all appears to go ok with only one error noted. FreePBX 17 comes with Asterisk 22 by default, which does not support chan_sip. After the update, it’s saying system isn’t activated and I’m unable to get into the system admin module. Now there is an option to go from 15 to 16. Started the upgrade and let it run.
