Assumedly quite early in G43 production, if not pre-production? This is a WW2 original German G43/K43 Rifle magazine. Stamped "gcb" "K43" and waffen military proof stamped. New, unused item! The rifle was chambered for the 7. About 450,000 pieces were made during the second world war and many survived the war. The magazine is in very good overall condition with natural patina and finish loss throughout the magazine exterior. Should work fine if one does not swap the magazine very often. This looks very similar to some WW1 era G98 rifles fitted with undetachable magazines. 92x57mm Mauser cartridge and had a 10-round detachable box magazine.
